Preserve Internet Freedom

Friday afternoons are when Team Obama reveals its most nefarious decisions.

So last Friday, the Obama Commerce Department announced it’s going to end the arrangement that has long assured the freedom and technological innovation of the Internet.

We are assured that the new order of things will provide for both. But, since no one knows what that new arrangement will be, it seems unlikely.

That’s especially true given that various enemies of freedom – including hostile nations, stealth jihadist groups like the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and UN bureaucrats – have been trying for years to dictate what the Internet can and can’t do.

Enabling that to happen is just the latest example of President Obama’s systematic efforts to diminish our country in ways that undermine liberty. Congress must act to preserve Internet freedom.
