The Stealth Jihad

Earlier this week, Senator John McCain of Arizona took to the floor of the U.S. Senate to criticize five members of the House of Representatives for asking hard questions about the Muslim Brotherhood’s influence in the Obama administration.
These legislators – Representatives Michele Bachmann, Louie Gohmert, Trent Franks, Lynn Westmoreland and Tom Rooney – deserve thanks for the public service they are performing, not condemnation.  They are justifiably troubled, as every American should be, by Team Obama’s embrace of policies favorable to an organization explicitly committed to America’s destruction – including helping bring it to power in Egypt.
Moreover, given the threat posed by the Muslim Brotherhood and the stealthy civilization jihad it is pursuing in America, we urgently need answers to the legislators’ questions, not efforts by the Obama administration and others to suppress them.

McCain's Views On The Broterhood

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.
Republican John McCain has been traveling the Mideast with a bipartisan delegation of his Senate colleagues. He seems to think the region’s ascendant Islamists of the Muslim Brotherhood are people America can do business with.
Call it pragmatism. Perhaps it is simply a cynical bid to secure the release of sixteen U.S. hostages, some of whom work in Egypt for the International Republican Institute, a non-governmental organization Sen. McCain has long chaired.
Whatever his rationale, John McCain’s warming to the Brotherhood is strategically catastrophic. It fails to recognize that group’s determination to destroy infidel nations like ours. It signals bipartisan support for giving the Brothers billions in foreign aid, and maybe arms. And it offers political cover to one of President Obama’s most insidious and destructive policies. This must not stand.
