More War

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.

President Obama’s national security team went to Capitol Hill yesterday and proceeded to insult our intelligence.

For example, Secretary of State John Kerry rebuked Senator Rand Paul for calling Mr. Obama’s plan for attacking Syria a prescription for a wider war. Kerry insisted it will be nothing more than a carefully orchestrated and very limited strike. Never mind that the enemy has a say in whether it results in a war or not.

Meanwhile, the war’s leading congressional cheerleader, Senator John McCain, criticized Fox News for being troubled about allying with Syrian rebels who shouted “Allahu Akhbar” after shooting down a Syrian jet. McCain insisted they are just like Christians thanking God and guaranteed “moderates.”

Jihadists are not like Christians, and helping them conquer Syria is a formula for more war.
