Hazardous Duty
This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.
It is proving to be increasingly dangerous to be associated with Iran’s weapons of mass destruction programs. Since 2007, six leading figures in the mullahs’ efforts to get and deliver nuclear arms have been assassinated.
And this week, the commander of Tehran’s cyber warfare unit charged with attacking electric grids and other critical infrastructures with potentially devastating effects turned up with two bullets in his heart.
It’s not clear who did these assassinations and how badly they are impacting Iranian ambitions. Tehran blames Israel and is surely working to retaliate in some fashion. But one thing is certain: At a moment when President Obama is taking steps like easing sanctions that would likely enable the Iranians to make further advances, it is nice to know that someone is trying to stop them.
