Wrong Side Obama

His support was critical to the Brotherhood’s electoral success as its organized, disciplined and ruthless operatives consolidated power in the chaos after Mubarak’s fall.Now Obama is supporting the Islamist regime of Mohamed Morsi against the many millions of Egyptians fighting its efforts to impose the Brotherhood’s totalitarian shariah agenda.Thanks to Barack Obama, we are on the wrong side in Egypt. The Days of Snowden's Life

Since the former National Security Agency contractor arrived in the transit lounge at the Moscow airport nine days ago, he has been frantically seeking a place to escape American justice. There are good reasons why no friend of the United States will help. Snowden reportedly joined the NSA for the purpose of exposing its secrets. He continues to do so, harming the national security. And he may have given Chinese and Russian intelligence as-yet-undisclosed data.The next plot twist? Snowden may fly to rabidly anti-U.S. Venezuela on the presidential plane of Hugo Chavez’s successor, Nicholas Maduro, now visiting Russia. This appalling soap opera continues. Stay tuned. Gettysburg

Breeding Enemies

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.Two headlines say a lot about the world America faces after four-and-a-half years of the Obama presidency: First, Libyan authorities have set free an al Qaeda operative tied to the murderous jihadist attack in Benghazi last year. Second, in neighboring Egypt, an American involved in promoting democracy there was sentenced to two-years in prison for that activity, which the Muslim Brotherhood government considers a crime. Both governments owe their very existence to the Obama administration’s help in bringing them to power. Their behavior – and that of a lot of others around the globe – makes clear that it is now better to be an enemy of the United States than its friend. Team Obama's Latest Jihadist Outreach

Perhaps that’s because his National Security Council staff recently met with a prominent figure from that nation – Abdullah bin Bayyah.The Investigative Project on Terror notes that bin Bayyah is also one of the world’s most virulent promoters of jihad. Yet, he was invited to the White House to discuss ways to improve communications with the International Union of Muslim Scholars. That’s a jihadist group founded by radical cleric Youssef al-Qaradawi, whose Islamic supremacism has caused him to be banned from the United States.Africa is among the places where Team Obama’s embrace of Islamists is proving disastrous. The Senate's Contempt for Us

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.Sixty-seven senators yesterday showed contempt for the American people, for the rule of law and for the national security. They voted to proceed to the adoption of a nearly 1200-page “amendment” that will further deform our already broken immigration system. The question is: Will they get away with it?The answer must be a resounding “No.” Despite the misleading claims of proponents, the bill now pending will first give amnesty to those who have come here illegally and promise to secure the border later. We have seen this movie before – and it ends without border security and with millions of additional unlawful aliens here, demanding yet another amnesty.Let your Senator know you oppose such a defective immigration bill.
