Obama's Legacy

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.

President Obama’s determination to “fundamentally transform” this country and redistribute its power to foreign nations – particularly hostile ones – has helped produce the following strategic reverses, if not outright disasters:

Russia is continuing to try to dismember Ukraine and threatening worse.

China has staked territorial claims to nearly all the South China Sea.

Iraq is in terminal decline. With our forces’ departure, Afghanistan will shortly head there, too.

Libya is increasingly in the hands of radical jihadists, as is Syria.

Iran is at the cusp of having a deliverable nuclear weapon.

And our southern border is awash with teenagers likely to fall into the hands of drug gangs and jihadists here.

In short, our enemies are emboldened, our friends undermined and our country diminished. That’s the Obama doctrine, and his most disastrous legacy.
