On Saturday, voters in Taiwan will likely choose freedom over enslavement by the Chinese Communist Party. But China’s dictator, Xi Jinping, has other plans and is now poised to impose them on the Taiwanese, and the rest of the world.
His ambitions are an incalculable danger for us especially because Xi is determined to prevent America from thwarting their realization. And he’s now ready to ravage, if not destroy, this country thanks – among other things – to his  successful infiltration of large numbers of apparent Chinese military personnel across the southern border President Biden has effectively dismantled.
Consider this a Red Alert: We must seal that border, adopt a war-footing and task the FBI to stop hectoring January 6th patriots and focus, instead, on locating, rounding-up and neutralizing Chinese – and, for that matter, jihadist – operatives positioned to wage war upon us from within.

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. 
When I worked for Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger and President Reagan a lifetime ago, it would have been unimaginable for “Cap” to be AWOL in an ICU – or for any other reason – for even an hour, let alone as Lloyd Austin recently did for three days. His deputy was on vacation and unaware she was effectively acting Secretary.
Not least, such misconduct constitutes a potentially perilous severing of the nuclear chain of command.
That’s arguably never been more true than now, when we must deter China’s Xi Jinping from igniting his next act of “strategic arson” here. 
Even before this dereliction of duty, Lloyd Austin has been a disastrous Secretary of Defense, with his contribution to the abject surrender of Afghanistan, his purges of patriotic warriors, forced jabs and Marxist transformation of the U.S. military. 
It’s time for him to go.

Three years ago, America was fundamentally transformed, not by an “insurrection,” but by those who engineered a riot at the Capitol – and what they’ve done to weaponize and exploit that event ever since. 
The few who engaged in actual crimes that day posed no credible threat of overthrowing the government of the United States. 
And many hundreds of patriotic American citizens peacefully demonstrating on the Hill have been prosecuted, jailed, bankrupted and otherwise unconstitutionally subjected to “cruel and unusual punishment,” thanks in part to the suppression of exculpatory evidence of official decisions that facilitated their entry into the Capitol and provoked the crowd.
At Valley Forge today, President Biden will continue his practice of vilifying not just them, but half the country who were also disenfranchised and have been portrayed ever since as “enemies of democracy” and potential “violent extremists.”

A House committee will hold a hearing next week aimed at beginning the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. He should be charged with treason for facilitating 10 million aliens’ illegal entry. 
Exhibit A should be an April 2023 memorandum ordering key Customs and Border Patrol officers to streamline the admission of Chinese nationals, including tens of thousands of unaccompanied, military-age men believed to be People’s Liberation Army special forces personnel. Instead of undergoing hours of vetting, these ticking-time bombs are being speedily let in and distributed all over America.
Thanks to Alejandro Mayorkas and the rest of Team Biden, we are now facing a Countdown to Chaos. Several divisions-worth of China’s troops, and countless jihadis, are poised to wreak havoc here. We urgently need new leadership committed to protecting America, not betraying and imperiling all of us.

Rarely is a major problem with profound implications correctible with a single action, especially in the near-term. 
One such problem, however, is at hand in the form of a radical environmental proposal being stealthily advanced that would have the effect of permanently removing public lands, water and even air from productive use – and endanger private property rights, as well. 
Rabid globalists – including the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, the Chinese Communist Party and, of course, the Biden Administration – want to create and weaponize so-called “Natural Asset Companies” to restrict U.S. food production, and the exploitation of minerals, energy resources and timber, all ostensibly to mitigate “climate change.”

A devastating earthquake in Japan yesterday may symbolize a New Year marred by geostrategic tectonic shifts. Some are predictable – and their effects can, therefore, be attenuated if we act in time.
Consider the creation of so-called “global governance” mechanisms that would subordinate us to the dictates of unaccountable international entities like the World Health Organization. 
Largely secret negotiations are expected by May to produce agreements that will give the WHO the authority to declare what constitutes a public health emergency here – and what must be done about it. Three Biden administration officials appear to have perjured themselves in testifying last month that would not diminish our sovereignty. 
The House of Representatives has voted to cut off funding for the WHO and require Senate approval of any such accords. To prevent irreparable harm to our public health – and America, Congress must concur.
