Joe Biden insists the U.S. stands with Israel – and we must. But, as with Ukraine, he invited this war by not standing with the target of aggression before it happens. 
Indeed, Biden has relentlessly undermined Israel since taking office. Until last month, he refused to meet with her leader. He’s encouraged Palestinian ambitions by: restoring funding that supports terrorists and their families; undermining the Abraham accords; and interfering with – not facilitating – a peace accord with Saudi Arabia. 
Team Biden emptied an emergency weapons stockpile Israel desperately needs now. And worst of all, it’s empowered the Iranian regime behind the murderous attack on Israel by Hamas – and much worse in prospect from Hezbollah, Syria and the mullahs, themselves.  
The blood of Israelis is on Joe Biden’s hands. Are his disastrous policies inviting additional catastrophes in the Western Pacific, and possibly here next?

Futile exercises are often likened to “closing the barn door after the horse is gone.” Joe Biden’s belated efforts to mitigate his destruction of our southern border are akin to shutting it after a herd of Trojan horses have gotten in. 
Suddenly, as Democratic politicians repudiate previous commitments to make their constituencies sanctuaries for countless people euphemistically called “undocumented migrants” in favor of curbing services for “illegal aliens” and preventing further arrivals, Team Biden is channeling Donald Trump by building border walls and deporting Venezuelans. 
Such disastrously belated policy reversals will likely prove too little, too late to prevent massive electoral repudiation of open border candidates. Thank heavens, the owners of America’s “barn” are insisting on new management.

Pope Francis and China’s “emperor,” Xi Jinping, seem to share the goals of  “fundamentally transforming” the Roman Catholic Church and propping up the increasingly imperiled Chinese Communist Party. 
This week, the Pope has convened a “synod” in Rome where clerical leaders and, for the first time, women and other “stakeholders” can approve radical doctrinal changes. While the Pope must accept such recommendations, doing so would be consistent with his roots in Marxist liberation theology.
Via a secret Vatican deal with China, Francis has also, at least implicitly, greenlighted Xi’s efforts to morph – if not destroy outright – the Church in China, where Christians are believed to outnumber CCP members and, thus, endanger the regime. 
Those who follow Jesus or otherwise love freedom must join forces to oppose the damage being done by Xi and Francis – both individually and via their unholy alliance.

Kevin McCarthy is no longer Speaker because, at the end of the day, a majority of the House of Representatives no longer trusted him. If integrity becomes a job requirement going forward, it will serve the Congress – and the nation – well.
The same must apply to the leadership of the U.S. military. In a powerful essay at LifesiteNews.com and a devastating new book entitled, Defending the Constitution Behind Enemy Lines, serving Navy Commander Robert Green courageously observes that, “There is no more important value to building an effective fighting force than trust.” 
Particularly devastating to such trust has been: uniformed leaders’ misconduct in successive wars; the disastrous surrender of Afghanistan; and illegally requiring service personnel to be jabbed with untested so-called “vaccines.” 
The Senate must reject, not reward, senior officers nominated for promotion but who have, like Speaker McCarthy proven untrustworthy.

Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz is commendably trying to hold a rogue House Speaker accountable. So, the House of Representatives will soon vote on a motion to fire Kevin McCarthy for successive betrayals of the formal commitments that made him, after fifteen different votes in January, the chamber’s leader, third in line to the presidency.
It comes down to a matter of trust. Will Republicans trust a man who has made deals with the Biden administration and congressional Democrats that have effectively neutered GOP control of the House? While many Republican members likely will, probably not enough of them to save McCarthy’s speakership – unless Democrats bail him out.
House Democrats may do so, provided he promises further concessions going forward. But would you rely on a man who needs your support precisely because he cannot be trusted to keep his word?

Senator Dianne Feinstein’s colleagues are eulogizing her decades of path-breaking public service and admirable personal qualities. Unsurprisingly, no mention has been made of one serious defect.  
The Chinese Communists call it “elite capture.” She was instrumental in getting China into the World Trade Organization. Her husband got rich doing deals with the PRC. And for a decade her state office manager was a Chinese spy.
In his tribute on the Senate floor Friday, another senior legislator enriched by the Chinese Communist Party, Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, reminisced about regular dinners with the Feinsteins and his wife, former Cabinet member Elaine Chao. One wonders: Did they discuss China?
