Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall is suddenly warning that the Chinese Communist Party is preparing for war and his service is not ready for what’s in the offing. He’s launched five separate task forces in an urgent – if not actually desperate – bid to restore our ability to deter such a conflict and, failing that, to prevail in it. 
But first, we need to know who is responsible for this perilous situation? 
Ultimately, that would be the Air Force Chief of Staff, who for three years has been charged with recruiting, training, operating and maintaining the force. His name is General C.Q. Brown. And President Biden wants him to be the military’s next top officer – principally because Brown champions the administration’s Marxist makeover of our armed forces. 
General Brown’s malfeasance warrants a court-martial, not promotion to Joint Chiefs Chairman.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s announcement yesterday that the House will launch a formal impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden surely starts the countdown to the President’s early departure from office. 
Of course, the Senate seems unlikely to convict when, not if, the House impeaches this Chief Executive for bribery, other high crimes and misdemeanors and, deservedly, for treason. Rather, he’ll have to go because even his own partisans will conclude that his position is untenable, and they stand to suffer politically if he remains in office. 
No patriotic American can relish the prospect that, at least for a time, Kamala Harris might – like her running-mate – become President-in-name-only. But she, too, will have to go lest she precipitate a GOP electoral landslide too big to steal. 
Fraught history is being made and we must pray the Republic survives it.

The upcoming annual meetings of national leaders and international bureaucrats at the United Nations generally don’t matter. Unfortunately, an event there on September 20th could prove extremely consequential – and dangerously so. 
Member nations are expected to endorse a so-called “political declaration” that commits them to abide by and otherwise support a set of sweeping “global governance” undertakings wholly incompatible with our national security and sovereignty. 
For example, the World Health Organization would be empowered to dictate what constitutes an actual or potential health emergency, not only for humans, but plants and animals, too – and what must be done in response.
The UN declaration also endorses censorship; “sharing” newly discovered viruses; and “digital transformation” of “Big Data.” As our special program with Steve Bannon yesterday made clear, such “global governance” would mean the end of freedom worldwide.

Patriotic Americans in Michigan have been fighting to protect their part of the U.S. heartland from being despoiled and possibly weaponized by Gotion, a company that not only works for the Chinese Communist Party. It is a CCP enterprise, through and through.
For example, 500 employees of the parent company that wholly owns Gotion’s American subsidiary were recently shown visiting Party landmarks in People’s Liberation Army uniforms, vowing to give their lives for the CCP. 
Incredibly, Michigan’s governor and state legislature have insisted on giving Gotion over $700 million in subsidies, tax credits and other inducements to establish a lithium battery plant in a pristine part of the state. 
That amounts, in short, to yet another case of American elites blithely funding our mortal enemy’s installation of a ticking environmental, if not actually a literal time-bomb here.

Peter Navarro is among the most brilliant of American patriots and most clear-eyed and impactful of former public servants. Notably, he helped President Trump execute a desperately needed corrective to U.S.-China policy after five decades of reckless “engagement” and appeasement. 
It's a travesty that Dr. Navarro has been convicted of contempt for the January 6th Committee for refusing to respond to its subpoenas for information properly covered by presidential “executive privilege.” This conviction was virtually inevitable once the presiding judge precluded such a defense.
In fact, the only people who don’t have contempt for that embarrassing congressional exercise in unchecked political warfare are participants in and beneficiaries of its kangaroo- court antics.
It adds insult to injury that Peter Navarro’s prosecution is the latest manifestation of the serial weaponization of the Justice Department and judiciary against Team Biden’s opponents.
