As Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo prepares for the fourth trip to China in recent weeks by a pandering U.S. Cabinet officer, her department announced that 27 Chinese companies would be removed from its so-called “Entities List.” Supposedly, Biden administration concerns about American exports to those companies improving the capabilities of China’s military have been satisfactorily addressed.
Now, any exports of inherently dual-use technologies to the Chinese Communist Party will wind up in the hands of its People’s Liberation Army. Period. 
Worse yet, green-lighting such transfers under present circumstances can only reinforce Xi Jinping’s expectations that he’ll be rewarded, not punished, for more belligerence. That’s a formula for a shooting war.
We must deter, not encourage such a prospect via further, rank appeasement – especially in the face of the CCP’s intensifying assault on the dollar and unmistakable preparations for conflict.

Timing is everything. The party Chinese dictator Xi Jinping planned to have in South Africa this week was meant to showcase his country’s emergence as the pillar of a new economic alliance intended to topple the dollar as the world’s reserve currency with an alternative reportedly backed in some fashion by gold. 
The only problem is that the Chinese Communist Party is in a growing economic crisis. Its real estate bubble has burst. Its banks are saddled with unmanageable debt. Its exports are down. And it’s said to be looking for a trillion-dollar bailout.
Who do you think the CCP expects to provide that kind of money? The short answer is YOU, through your pension funds, other investments or federal taxes. 
Under no circumstances should Wall Street or Washington be further underwriting an enemy simultaneously seeking our economic and national destruction.

During a staggeringly alarming webinar yesterday, former Senator and Ambassador Sam Brownback called for punishing sanctions on Turkey and Azerbaijan unless they stop preventing food, medicine and other necessities from reaching Christians in what is now formally the Republic of Artsakh. Amen!

You don’t have to embrace conspiracy theories about how a lot of Maui just burned up to feel uneasy about plans the state government of Hawaii had for the island before the fire. A Hawaii Digital Government Summit scheduled for next month in Maui, suggests Governor Josh Green and his subordinates envision it becoming a Smart Island.
The word “Smart” these days actually means “Control.” Smart Meters, Smart Appliances, Smart Cities, and most especially Smart Medical Cards, Vaccine Passports and other IDs, are means of turning over data, and ultimately decisions about your life, to somebody else. Inevitably, that will mean the government.
