Yesterday, a federal judge in Delaware pulled a string that threatens, finally, to unravel the Biden presidency. Judge Maryellen Norieka refused to “rubber-stamp” a plea deal when it became clear that Joe Biden’s notorious son, Hunter, thought his father’s politicized Justice Department had agreed to give him, literally, a get-out-of-jail-free card, but the prosecuting U.S. Attorney may have other plans.  
It remains to be seen how this will sort out. But clearly there are grounds for further charges against both Bidens. And the House of Representatives finally seems intent on examining such evidence in a formal presidential impeachment inquiry. 
The question recurs: Under these circumstances, should the Senate confirm the deeply problematic choice of a president whose days in office increasingly seem numbered to run our military into the ground for the next two years?

Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville has gone to extraordinary lengths to challenge the Biden administration’s politicizing of the U.S. military. He has placed what is known in the Senate as a “hold” on promotions of hundreds of officers. 
Specifically, “Coach” Tuberville is determined to prevent Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin from unconstitutionally nullifying a statute barring federal funding of abortion. This principled Senator is under intense pressure to release his hold. 
If anything, he should broaden its justification to include other fundamental transformations of our armed forces – including Critical Race Theory indoctrination, transgender accommodations and substituting racial quotas for their tradition of meritocracy. 
At a minimum, Senator Tuberville should block the nomination of General C.Q. Brown to be the nation’s top officer, but who embraces these Marxist priorities and surely will, if confirmed, inflict them relentlessly on our servicemen and women.

Israel is in turmoil, thanks in part to a former Chief of Staff of its military who has recently been revealed to have plotted the overthrow of Israel’s government since 2020. That’s long before last year’s election of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a popular mandate to reform his nation’s judiciary, a version of which was approved by Parliament today. 
The seditious machinations of retired General and former Prime Minister Ehud Barak should be a warning for the U.S. Senate. It is poised to confirm a highly political general, C.Q. Brown, as the next Chairman of America’s Joint Chiefs of Staff. Allen West has warned that in that role he would be “Al Sharpton with four stars.” 
Think a U.S. general who champions Critical Race Theory’s hatred of whites and America’s “systemic racism” running our military won’t be a problem? Think again.

There’s a new meme showing President Biden congratulating Air Force Chief of Staff General C.Q. Brown on his selection as the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The general is shown saying “In just three years, I reduced the U.S. Air Force from ‘marginal’ to ‘very weak.’” Biden asks, “Could you do it for the whole U.S. military?”
Sadly, it’s no joke. A PresentDangerChina.org webinar last Friday with four of America’s most formidable black patriots indicates that the answer is surely “Yes” if those two men can further ratchet up the devastating cultural Marxist takedown of our armed forces now well-underway.

The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party has just opened an investigation into American venture capital firms helping this country’s mortal enemy acquire AI and other cutting-edge U.S. technologies decisive to our commercial and military competitiveness. That’s the good news.
The bad news is that, so far, the Committee is not investigating the most egregious example of such treachery. 
Curiously absent from the list of companies receiving the panel’s scrutiny is Sequoia Capital. As a recent, stunning webinar at PresentDangerChina.org documented, Sequoia’s “global steward,” Neil Shen, actually works for the Chinese Communist Party. 
Reportedly, Shen has helped it buy not just technology but Washington, too, with campaign contributions to Kevin McCarthy and many Democrats that have to date shielded his operation from official inquiries, let alone criminal charges.

The Chinese Communist Party has many reasons to celebrate the visit this week of its “friend,” Henry Kissinger. He’s 100 years old. He’s been to the PRC over 100 times. And for five decades, he has been its most unstinting and influential shill. 
Kissinger has been paid handsomely for his service to Beijing since he first secretly traveled there in 1971 as the advance man for Richard Nixon’s fateful “opening” to the CCP. Late in his life, the former President correctly feared that “We may have created a Frankenstein.”
Another service Kissinger rendered to the Communists is chronicled in Stephen Young’s important new book, Kissinger’s Betrayal: How America Lost the Vietnam War. It describes his secret sell-out of South Vietnam, assuring our ally’s genocidal defeat by their enemies, and ours, in Hanoi.
With the Communists’ friends like Henry Kissinger, who needs enemies?
