Forty years ago, Ronald Reagan described the totalitarian communist enemy that threatened to destroy our country as “the Evil Empire.” That famous presidential depiction of the Soviet Union was key to the strategy he successfully pursued to “leave Marxism and Leninism on the ash heap of history.”
Tragically, we face today another Marxist-Leninist regime busily establishing an empire that is, if anything, even more evil and certainly far more of what Reagan called “an existential threat to freedom” than the USSR was in its heyday.
That threat emanates from the Chinese Communist Party waging “unrestricted warfare” against us to achieve “global governance” expressly embraced by its megalomaniacal emperor, Xi Jinping.
We must do as Ronald Reagan did: recognize the spiritual nature of the war we are in; delegitimize our evil enemy; and adopt and execute a strategy for its decisive defeat.

The Biden administration has finally declared the Chinese company that owns the application known as TikTok must be sold to a U.S. one or stop operating in this country.  
Of course, the real owner of TikTok – and every other business in China – is the Chinese Communist Party. Accordingly, Byte dance does what it is told by the CCP, notably with the immense amounts personal information it collects from users. In practice, that means surrendering such data to the Party, which weaponizes it against them, and the rest of us. 
TikTok does so by making its platform as addictive as possible. The resulting, detailed personal profiles translate into “digital twins,” exploitable for espionage, cyberwarfare and, ultimately, controlling the real one. The CCP also toxically utilizes TikTok to indoctrinate users to admire China and hate America. 
No more games. TikTok must be shut down.

Yesterday, two Russian fighter aircraft intercepted and destroyed an expensive unmanned American aircraft in international air space over the Black Sea. This was not, as the Pentagon would have us believe, an incident caused Kremlin pilots’ recklessness or unprofessionalism.   
Rather, it was a deliberate act, designed to discourage the U.S. military from conducting legal and valuable intelligence collection against hostile powers with unarmed assets. It was also an ominous leading indicator of the erosion of our deterrence to acts of aggression. 
Russia isn’t the first to thus demonstrate that America no longer operates from a position of assuring peace through strength. After all, the senior member of Vladimir Putin’s “no limits partnership,” the Chinese Communist Party, has been endangering even manned U.S. aircraft in the Pacific. Team Biden’s feckless responses to date invite further testing of our perceived weakness – and worse.

Where could the collapse of two prominent regional banks – and the response to their failures – leave us? The Biden administration has effectively insured depositors’ entire accounts, not just the $250,000 supposedly guaranteed.
That’s obviously unsustainable if the banking industry continues to be rocked by instability. So, there is increasing speculation that the federal government will seize upon this pretext to accelerate the introduction of a Central Bank Digital Currency, and what amounts to its compulsory adoption by the American people.
When combined with Team Biden’s simultaneous efforts to empower the World Health Organization to dictate our public health policies and practices – including by globally mandating  “smart” medical cards, we could shortly be condemned to what amounts to the sort of “digital gulag” the Chinese Communists call the “Social Credit System.”
We must not go there.

Team Biden’s systematic dismantling of U.S. prestige, influence and security arrangements epitomized by its surrender of Afghanistan lurched forward last week as the Chinese Communist Party supplanted America in the heart of the Middle East. Think of it as Afghanistan 2.0. 
Beijing changed the Mideast’s balance of power by brokering a deal of uncertain durability, but potentially calamitous strategic repercussions, between Saudi Arabia and its mortal enemies, the mullahs of Iran. The effect will be probably to ensure that the Iranian regime finally gets the Bomb – and, if so, likely uses it. 
With the Saudis’ apparent removal from the region’s anti-Iran camp, the Biden administration has also furthered its aggressive undermining of our one real ally in the region – and the most likely immediate target of an Iranian nuclear attack: Israel.  
Goodbye Pax Americana. Brace yourself for “Pox” CCP.
