In closed door sessions yesterday, the Biden administration finally briefed Congress about the Chinese Communist Party’s latest addition to its comprehensive “unrestricted warfare” against our country.  
Lawmakers who spoke afterwards seemed properly dissatisfied that enough was done to protect our nation and population against the extensive espionage conducted by a high-altitude balloon – to say nothing of the possibility that platform could have been weaponized and potentially catastrophically dangerous to our electric grid.  
Fortunately, the rest of us with a need-to-know about such dangers can get briefed by top experts via a compelling Committee on the Present Danger: China webinar conducted on Tuesday. And, thanks to an important new report at SecureFreedom.org, we can learn how – in the face of federal failures to counter various threats from the CCP – U.S. states can and must step up to protect our people.

Seymour Hersh, a journalist with a checkered record of sensational, but not always accurate, reporting claims that on September 26, 2022, a covert action ordered by President Joe Biden blew up three of four Russian undersea pipelines known as Nordstream 1 and 2.
Based upon what appears to be a single source, Hersch describes how months earlier, Navy divers executed a complex and highly classified operation to clandestinely put in place remotely controlled explosives.
 While this account may or may not prove to be true, we do know that forty years before, another president ordered the CIA to take steps that spectacularly sabotaged a Siberian gas pipeline – causing the most massive non-nuclear explosion ever and catalyzing Ronald Reagan’s take-down of the Soviet Union and its evil empire.
Joe Biden is no Ronald Reagan. But did he reprise one of Reagan’s greatest achievements?

Last night, Joe Biden reprised in the Capitol the false narrative that election deniers brought us an insurrection aimed at overthrowing our government.  
The President neglected to mention that his administration is simultaneously intervening in Israel to support leftists denying the results of the election that brought Bibi Netanyahu back to power with a mandate to reform an unaccountable and anti-democratic judiciary.
Neither did he acknowledge that those leftists are now openly calling for "civil war," the overthrow of the Israeli government, and even the assassination of Prime Minister Netanyahu.
A Center for Security Policy briefing yesterday revealed that Team Biden is threatening to abandon the Jewish State to a nuclear Iran unless Netanyahu reneges on his commitment to Israeli voters to restore historic limitations on the power of their supreme court.

Tonight, we’ll hear a speech that purports to describe the State of the Union. Unfortunately, it’s predictable that it will further exacerbate what might best be called the state of Biden’s disunion.
After all, no president in modern American history has done more than Joe Biden to foster and intensify divisions between this nation’s people along racial, economic and ideological lines.
This is not an accident. Neither is it a product of presidential   senility or incompetence.
Rather, it follows the playbook of Marxists for taking-down countries they have been elected to lead, often under false pretenses. Candidate Biden promised to unify and “build back” America, but has divided and impoverished us by: exploiting a pandemic to strip away our freedoms; fostering devastating inflation; breeding enmity in the name of “equity” and “diversity”; and wrecking U.S. power and prestige.
Spare us more lies, Joe.

On January 28th, the Chinese Communist Party sent a spy balloon into our airspace. It took President Biden until February 1st to order that it be shot down, which finally occurred on February 4th after its surveillance mission was complete.
This episode offers two notable insights: First, the balloon is kaput, but not the rest of the CCP’s comprehensive efforts to steal our secrets, including via: satellites, cyber techniques and countless human “collectors,” both spies as well as students, businessmen and tourists.
Second, the Biden administration concealed from the American people the balloon’s presence in the interest of having Secretary of State Tony Blinken travel to Beijing for meetings meant to promote the idea that the Chinese Communists are partners, not a threat.
The CCP actually is America’s mortal enemy. We cannot safely obscure that reality, or fail to defend ourselves against it.

“When the balloon goes up” is military slang for the start of a shooting war. The Chinese Communist Party has literally sent a very large balloon up to collect intelligence over sensitive sites
in the continental United States and the Biden administration’s refusal to shoot it down invites actual hostilities.
 
Presumably, a determination to avoid any unpleasantness on the eve of Secretary of State Tony Blinken’s visit to Beijing next week contributed to Team Biden’s latest act of submissiveness.
But it will only reinforce the CCP’s calculation that it can behave aggressively against us with impunity.
 
Unfortunately, as a powerful Committee on the Present Danger: China webinar yesterday made clear, the Chinese Communists are already at pre-kinetic war with America. Their serial
appeasement by our “captured” leadership elites only intensifies the likelihood of that war becoming a violent one.
