An important webinar conducted by our Committee on the Present Danger: China yesterday revealed that President Trump is actually not pursuing the policy of so-called “restraint” towards the CCP – better characterized as “appeasement” –  favored by some of his advisors. 
Mr. Trump appears instead to be giving Chinese Communist dictator Xi Jinping a bit of his own medicine by engaging in cognitive warfare aimed at obscuring the actual “unrestricted warfare” the United States is now increasingly waging at Xi’s expense. 
So, while the President continues to profess great respect for Emperor Xi, he’s actively working to undermine him across a broad front including by: supporting the people of Iran, not China’s vassal regime there; taking out the CCP’s Venezuelan puppet, Nicholas Maduro; and challenging Chinese ambitions to dominate the rest of the world. President Trump is serious about threats to this country emanating from actual or prospective penetrations of our hemisphere by hostile forces. Operation Absolute Resolve in Venezuela was animated in part by Nicholas Maduro’s close ties with Communist China, Cuba, Iran and Russia.
The President understands that vast, strategically located, resource-rich and nearly unpopulated Greenland is in such enemies’ crosshairs, too. So much so, that he’s intent on buying it. Understandably, if all else fails, he would not rule out the use of our military to keep the immense island from being weaponized against us – something we did in World War II. 
Denmark and other European nations that have proven indifferent to the ongoing invasions of their countries by sharia-supremacists are denouncing our President’s resolve. But NATO also requires Greenland to be in safe hands and cannot otherwise assure it will be.

For five years, we’ve been relentlessly told that, on this day in 2021, a mob determined to overthrow the government of the United States attacked the U.S. Capitol at the direction of President Donald Trump. 
There is considerable circumstantial evidence supporting an alternative explanation of what actually happened that January 6th. President Trump didn’t incite violence; he was blocked from having National Guard units deployed to prevent any; Speaker Nancy Pelosi actually reduced Capitol security that day; the police opened some of the buildings’ doors and waved people in; provocateurs were in the crowd, some of whom may have been among the large numbers of FBI undercover operatives and informants in the crowd.
Whether what happened five years ago was Democrat “direct action” aimed at undermining President Trump and his base remains to be seen. But that indisputably was the practical effect.

With the extraordinary feat of U.S. military arms that seized and extracted Venezuelan dictator Nicholas Maduro on Saturday, President Trump has reestablished the priority of hemispheric security among America’s vital interests. 
In so doing, he served notice on this country’s enemies in the Americas and those like China, Russia and Iran that have been allowed for far too long to operate here with impunity: Freedom-loving nations and peoples in the region will have a powerful friend in the United States and their foes a determined and engaged adversary.
To be clear, the United States did not seek to change Venezuela’s regime. Until that happens, the Communists, cartel and foreign powers that have tyrannically misruled there will remain a metastasizing threat to the native population and to ours. But an opportunity to secure both has been created – and must now be actualized.

For nearly fifty years, the Iranian people have suffered incalculably at the hands of a sharia-supremacist regime. The fact that the so-called “civilized world,” which the mullahs also assiduously threaten, has largely ignored that horror – and, worse yet, to varying degrees enabled it by doing deals with them – is damning in the extreme.
Amidst the latest, and hopefully final, popular demonstrations against the ayatollahs, President Trump today has publicly aligned the U.S. government with Iran’s people. 
In a Truth Social post, he declared: “If Iran [shoots] and violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue. We are locked and loaded and ready to go.”
President Trump seeks a legacy of peacemaking. His greatest contribution to a true and enduring peace in the Middle East will lie with helping Iranians liberate their country.

Onwards Christian - and Jewish - Soldiers!
It is indisputably history’s greatest crime against humanity that some 380 million Christians around the world are being
heavily persecuted. 
Events of the past few months offer hope that leaders of the civilized world are, at last, going to defend those persecuted simply for following Jesus Christ. Notably, President Trump warned jihadists in Nigeria, including its government, to stop such attacks or face U.S. military action – which he unleashed shortly before Christmas. Some Syrian jihadis butchering Christians and other minorities also faced American military retribution. 
And Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently declared that, “We are joining an effort to have basically a united nations of countries that support Christian communities around the world. This is…a main part of our agenda and it’s going to continue with greater force and greater might in this coming year.”
