Is Team Biden Not Going Anywhere?
Dec 19, 2024

The Biden administration committed yesterday to reduce U.S. emissions of greenhouse gases by 66 percent over the next decade.
You might be forgiven for thinking that whoever’s running our country at the moment didn’t get the memo that their team lost the election, with voters soundly repudiating its radical policies with respect to climate change and the rest of the left’s wrecking operation against America.
Indeed, as a powerful webinar conducted Tuesday by our Committee on the Present Danger: China made clear, the outgoing administration is seemingly doing everything it can to undermine, or at least countermand, the mandate Donald Trump is supposed to begin fulfilling a month from tomorrow.
The bottom line is that Team Biden is behaving as though it isn’t going anywhere. The question occurs: Is it deliberately fostering chaos-inducing conditions, here and abroad, calculated to postpone the inauguration?

Caroline Glick, Host of The Caroline Glick Show
Caroline Glick and I discussed what Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey is doing to exploit what he and his surrogates have accomplished in the seizure of Syria, whether Jordan is next, and what it means for Israel and the rest of the region for that matter. We also discussed the prospects for a ceasefire in Gaza and the folly of aiding the Palestinian Authority with funds or with funds, to say nothing of arms. We also discussed the plight of Gal Luft, a mutual friend who is being very badly mistreated for having revealed Joe Biden and his family's crimes in connection with a Chinese intelligence front doing business as an oil company.
Col. Grant Newsham, Contributor, Gatestone Institute
Colonel Grant Newsham and I had a far-reaching conversation, wide-ranging conversation, let me say, about several aspects of the national security posture of the United States, including the dangers of an open border, the apparent recruitment of Chinese nationals into our military, some of them at least, seemingly having come here illegally for possibly very maligned purposes.
We also talked about drones and other unexplained things that are happening at the moment that should be of great concern to our military certainly, but also to our citizens. And they're not being told the truth, eroding confidence in our government in the process.
We also discussed the developments in South Korea that put very much in play the prospect of an untimely end to one of our most important strategic partnerships with the South Korean government and perhaps a huge advance for the Chinese Communist Party and its North Korean proxies seeking not only to end that alliance but also to dominate the peninsula and for that matter specific of the world.

Paging Trump - Oppose Erdogan Now
Dec 18, 2024

The prime-mover behind the toppling of Syrian dictator Bashar Assad was another, de facto dictator: Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He is poised to become its principal beneficiary, as well.
During the Cold War, Turkey was ruled by governments that, while Muslim, aligned their country with the West, securing NATO’s southern flank against Soviet aggression. Unfortunately, that alliance has no mechanism for expelling a nation now ruled by a Sharia-supremacist like Erdogan, allied with today’s existential threat to freedom, Communist China and set on its own aggressive agenda aimed at establishing a neo- Ottoman empire and destroying Israel.
Paging President-elect Donald Trump. The ability you demonstrated in your first term to wrangle Recep Erdogan is needed now, before he creates facts on the ground that will be a festering sore for your next one, and for the entire Middle East.

Major General Joe Arbuckle, Major General, U.S.Army (Ret.)
Major General Joe Arbuckle and I spoke about a new initiative by Flag Officers for America supporting the nomination of Pete Hegseth to be the next Secretary of Defense and why all of us should support that nomination to save our military from the wrecking operation to which it's been subjected by cultural Marxists and other enemies, foreign and domestic.
Peter Mcilvenna, Heart of Oak Podcast
I visited with Peter Mcilvenna about the state of freedom in the United Kingdom and the rather draconian steps being taken by the government of Prime Minister Sturmer to restrict, particularly, freedom of speech in ways seemingly very similar to the punishment of January 6th defendants in this country. We also talked about elections coming in France and Germany, as well as the prospects that the European Union itself may be a victim of rising popular nationalism and populist nationalism.
We discussed something called the Corporate Transparency Act, an instrument of repression in the United States that, fortunately, has now been stayed temporarily. Will we be spared its penalties permanently?

With Treacherous Transition

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.
Two days after Donald Trump’s landslide 2024 electoral victory, outgoing President Joe Biden announced, “I direct my entire administration to work with his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition.” This appeared to track with Biden’s oft- asserted commitment to “democracy.”
Unfortunately, what has happened since suggests that the Biden team has actually been using this lengthy transition period to lock in agendas, policies and priorities it has pursued over the past four years – but that were rejected by a majority of voters in this fall’s elections.
We are hosting a very timely webinar at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time today entitled, “Treacherous Transition.” It will examine how what amount to serial efforts by the outgoing administration and its allies to subvert the incoming one are advancing the interests of, among others, the Chinese Communist Party.

Col. John Mills, Senior Fellow, Center for Security Policy
Colonel John Mills and I visited about this peculiar story about drones operating all over the East Coast of the United States at the moment. The competing stories that we're getting about whether it's a function of hostile powers action or our own government looking for other dangerous examples of enemies and nuclear weapons perhaps in our own country.
We also talked about the penetration of our government agencies by foreign powers, notably the Federal Aviation Administration, for seven years by an Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps veteran and a Chinese national who sent 50,000 rounds of US MO and small arms to North Korea.
Bill Walton, Host of the Bill Walton Show
Bill Walton and I discussed an important problem that is getting altogether too little attention: attacks on the sovereignty of the United States by those who favor world government, including the Biden-Harris administration, and a very exciting initiative of the National Association of Christian Lawmakers to push back against it through resolutions we all hope will be adopted across the country in every state in the Union, asserting states' rights and national sovereignty over world government.
Dr. David Wurmser, Senior Analyst for Middle East Affairs I spoke with Dr. David Wurmser about reports that Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to adopt a ceasefire, including, perhaps, provisions that are absolutely at odds with his long-stated positions. We don't know if this is true, but we explore the implications should it be. We also discussed what's happening elsewhere in the region, in Syria notably, and what it means for not only the people of Syria, including the Druze, the Assidis, and the Kurds, but also the people of Israel and the people of Jordan, and perhaps Saudi Arabia as well.
