Israel’s continuing attacks on Hezbollah suggest that the Netanyahu government has reached an unavoidable conclusion:
There’s a narrow – and rapidly closing window – in which the Jewish State can act decisively to defeat her enemies and ours.
 
That’s because, whichever way the U.S. presidential election campaign comes out, the abandonment and subversion of Israel by the Biden-Harris administration is certain to be greatly intensified.
 
Obviously, if Kamala Harris loses, the prospect of the restoration of a pro-Israel Trump presidency will prompt the outgoing regime to want to change “the facts on the ground” as much as possible.
 
And if Harris wins, she will want Biden’s lame-duck team to be responsible for doing that – including perhaps recognizing a Palestinian state – before she takes office.
 
American interests require Benjamin Netanyahu to seize the day. God speed, Bibi, and to you and Israel.

Yesterday, the relentlessly anti-Israel United Nations voted to demand that the Jewish State commit suicide. That would be the practical effect of a Palestinian-drafted resolution giving Israelis one year to withdraw to indefensible borders, assuring that enemies determined to destroy her control territory from which to do so.
 
The UN’s Marxist Secretary-General says he approves of this measure and will abide by it. Even worse, unbeknownst to virtually any American or Israeli, within days, Antonio Guterres is expected to be given the power to designate international emergencies and dictate what member nations must do to respond.
 
Israel will likely be the first to be victimized by such a transformation of the UN into a world government under the rule of an unaccountable, unelected foreign bureaucrat. We may well be next.

Israel yesterday executed a surgical strike against more than  three thousand Hezbollah operatives. The “surgery” was executed via typically pocket-borne Iranian-supplied pagers that the Israelis were able to detonate nearly simultaneously across Lebanon.
 
In addition to losing private and other body parts, the terrorist organization sustained what is in Middle Eastern culture, an even greater blow: a loss of face.
 
The reaction was immediate. Across the Arab world – including notably in areas of Lebanon, memes, videos and social media posts figuratively exploded, evidence of widespread hatred of both Hezbollah and its masters in Tehran.
 
Israel’s strike has also helped burnish its reputation for military and intelligence preeminence. Which is good for the Jewish State – and for an America whose government has shamefully sought to coerce our ally into making territorial and other concessions to our mutual enemy: a now-somewhat emasculated Hezbollah.

In just six days, the Biden-Harris administration intends to support the United Nations’ transformation into an instrument of world government. It’s doing so without the American people’s knowledge, let alone assent.
 
Our Sovereignty Summit yesterday, headlined by Senator Ron Johnson, established that the plan to give the UN’s Secretary-General sweeping emergency powers – like those conferred stealthily in June on the World Health Organization’s leader – is unconstitutional and an assault on our sovereignty and freedoms.
 
A bipartisan majority in the House voted last week to require Senate approval of the latter treaty. A majority of governors say they “will not comply” with it. And a congressional press conference today will serve notice the next accord expected to emerge from the upcoming “Summit of the Future” warrants the same treatment.
 
World government must be a defining issue in the 2024 election. Will it be?

The latest attempt to assassinate former President Donald Trump is evidence not only of his obviously deteriorating personal security situation. It is a warning about the parlous state of America’s internal security more broadly.
 
Reports of pet-eating Haitian illegal aliens in Ohio and  Venezuelan gang members taking over apartment buildings in Colorado grab headlines, but obscure far more serious threats posed by two cohorts now here in large numbers: jihadists from around the world and military personnel from Communist China.
 
FBI Director Chris Wray has repeatedly warned about the prospect of imminent attacks inside this country. It seems likely that they will come from one, or perhaps both, of these populations.
 
What is being done to identify, locate and neutralize such threats before they strike with deadly effect – perhaps against our political leaders, perhaps against our infrastructure and people, more generally?

Two developments are pointed reminders that we are risking disaster by ignoring the greatest threat to freedom in world history. The FBI recently arrested a woman who allegedly ran influence operations for the Chinese Communist Party at the highest levels of government in New York State.
 
And one of China’s top generals has just been invited to participate in a conference of allied military leaders about coordinating defenses against, wait for it, CCP aggression.
 
These are just symptoms of how our elites have ignored and exacerbated the mortal peril we now face. It’s scarcely mentioned in the present presidential campaign. As a result, American voters are generally clueless about the growing risks of a shooting war.
