Our country is in extremis. We face a world of dangerous enemies and panicking allies. And threats on the home front are at an unprecedented level. 
 
At this juncture, we simply cannot afford to have the U.S. presidency in unfit hands. Yet, Joe Biden has been unfit for office at least since he ran for the White House from his basement four years ago. His presidency was made possible, and been run by, Barack Obama and his lieutenants – who lied about that reality.
 
Team Obama picked Kamala Harris to be Biden’s vice president. They knew she, too, was unfit for the job – a reality that will, despite further lying, surely become ever more apparent in the days ahead. 
 
Those who have knowingly lied about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ inadequacies should be disqualified from public office – and selecting others who seek it.

Former President Donald Trump wrapped up the Republican convention last night by speaking at length and very movingly about his experience with the attempt to assassinate him. He rightly gave God full credit for the truly miraculous last-second adjustment of his head that spared his life. 
 
Lots of folks are assessing who deserves blame for the attack. Concerns about the objectivity and reliability of the lead investigator – a deeply politicized FBI – were heightened by its announcement right out of the gate that the shooter killed at the scene “acted alone.” 
 
But Rep. Mike Waltz announced after a preliminary briefing for Congress that the man had three encrypted overseas accounts. 
 
We currently have Chinese soldiers, Iranian assassination squads and countless jihadists here. The FBI’s assertion that none of them were involved in this attack is wildly premature – and potentially fatally myopic.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address Congress next week. The Biden administration continues pressing him to agree to a permanent ceasefire with Hamas, effectively translating into its victory over Israel.
 
Fortunately, “Bibi” increasingly has another option: Hamas’ complete defeat. Despite Team Biden’s incessant interference – aimed at dragging out the conflict, propping up the terrorist regime in Gaza and toppling Netanyahu’s government, there is growing evidence that the jihadists are being systematically liquidated, cut off from their tunnels used for resupply and security and demoralized. 
 
Symbolically, the U.S. Army is pulling the plug on the insidious and costly “temporary port” that Samantha Power and other pro-Hamas Biden officials intended to save the terrorists. It’s past time to do the same with the rest of their anti-Israel policies, including the so-called “two state solution” just overwhelmingly, and rightly, rejected by the Israeli parliament.

Negotiators in Geneva are frantically completing a Pandemic Treaty, the second in as many months, designed to give the World Health Organization ominous new powers – ostensibly to deal with “public health emergencies of international concern.” 
 
What’s the rush?
 
First, they need to get these “global governance” accords in place while Joe Biden purports to be President. His administration supports empowering WHO’s Maoist Director General, whose bad COVID-19 prescriptions helped kill a million Americans.
 
Second, the plan appears to be to subject the world this fall to yet another pandemic involving a strain of Bird Flu genetically modified to be transmissible to, and deadly for, human beings. Not to worry: there are three vaccines ready to be jabbed – and Team Biden has just given Moderna many millions to create an mRNA one. 
 
Who will stop the WHO and Friends from killing us again?

As Republicans began their national convention yesterday, the Chinese Communist Party launched its Third Party Plenum. While the public agenda of this critical meeting is the need for economic reforms in China, it comes against the backdrop of a People’s War declared against the United States in May 2019. 
 
People’s War entails a whole-of-society mobilization. A key piece of it is putting the population of China on a war-footing. And an important part of that initiative entails assuring its food security.
 
To that end, the CCP has amassed immense stockpiles of grains and other foodstuffs. Among other sources are farms and food production companies Chinese entities have, incredibly, been allowed to buy here. 
 
The GOP Convention needs to establish that the Chinese Communist Party is America’s mortal enemy. You can bet they know that at the Third Party Plenum.

Despite the use Sunday night of a teleprompter during his nationally broadcast address concerning the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, Joe Biden managed to utter twice a stunning Freudian slip. 
 
He declared that, “In America, we resolve our differences at the battle box. You know, that’s how we do it, at the battle box, not with bullets.”
 
The White House transcribed the word battle as “battol” and struck it through next to “ballot” in brackets. But the normal spelling seems more consistent with Biden’s declaration to donors last week that, “It’s time to put Trump in a bullseye.” 
 
Victor Davis Hanson has reminded us of sixteen other examples of celebrities espousing physical attacks on President Trump, including a popular play in New York’s Central Park.  
 
Such rhetoric must stop. But those who have indulged in it must be held accountable, as well.
