Freedom’s flame burns a little less brightly today. Last night, America lost a man who loved liberty passionately and tirelessly used his enormous talents as an entertainer to help secure it.
 
His name was Tony Lo Bianco and I was proud to call him a dear friend and mentor. In the course of a long career on and off Broadway and in Hollywood, Tony shone as one of our country’s brightest stars. 
 
His favorite role was surely that of the freedom-fighter who served as mayor of New York City for twelve turbulent years, Fiorello LaGuardia.  Tony received an Emmy for his one-man rendering of “Hizzoner” and for decades continued adapting and performing it, inspiring generations of our countrymen and women with that Foreign-born American Patriot’s indefatigable love of this country.

The UN Security Council yesterday unanimously approved a U.S.-sponsored resolution it claims will bring peace to the Gaza Strip and Israel’s northern border with Lebanon. To add insult to great strategic injury of our most important ally, the Biden administration insists this is an Israeli plan.
 
In fact, this phased plan is a fraud. It is not Israel’s proposal. 
 
What is, instead, Joe Biden’s plan is a formula for imposing a ceasefire in Gaza that is intended to be permanent, saving Hamas and perpetuating the threat Israel faces from that territory. 
 
Worse yet, the Biden fraud also entails a ceasefire in Israel’s north, leaving another of Iran’s proxies, the terrorist group Hezbollah, in place and the threat it poses that has driven ninety-thousand Israelis from their homes and businesses uncorrected. 
 
Americans stand with Israel. Joe Biden stands with her enemies.

The Washington Post has accused my friend Russ Vought of pursuing a “post-constitutional” agenda. This is but the latest, if a particularly scurrilous, example of the Left’s technique of accusing others of what they are doing. 
 
Unlike too many in official Washington these days, Russ has consistently lived up to the oath he took during his extensive and distinguished public service to “support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” In fact, his effectiveness in doing so both in office and now in the private sector, explains why he’s currently being subjected to political warfare. 
 
Actually, “post-Constitutional” far better describes Team Biden’s agenda. Destroying our borders, prosecuting political opponents, ignoring Supreme Court decisions, and promoting “global governance” are but a few examples of conduct that Russ Vought and millions of other American patriots oppose – and will repudiate in November.

The third Obama-Biden administration continues to exhibit the influence of Saul Alinsky on his community-organizing acolyte, Barack Obama. Indeed, the last and most famous of Alinsky’s thirteen Rules for Radicals is being weaponized today more aggressively than ever. It reads: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy.”
 
In practice, this amounts to a political decapitation strategy aimed at prosecuting and, if possible, imprisoning Donald Trump. One of his key advisors, Peter Navarro, is currently serving hard time for so-called “contempt of Congress.” Another, Steve Bannon, will do so beginning July 1.
 
Fortunately, far from such lawfare cutting off these Obama-Biden targets’ “support networks,” their prospective or actual incarceration is only increasing the resolve of American patriots to resist what amounts to real threats to democracy.

Eighty years ago today, allied forces valiantly fought their way onto the beaches of Normandy. We honor all those whose service and sacrifice produced the unconditional surrender of the Nazis – and, in due course, the imperial Japanese – whose aggression ignited a world war. 
 
The planet’s complete liberation would take another year. The devastation entailed and the toll in lives, both military and civilian, would prove staggering, with non-combatants subjected to mass destruction with, other things, firebombs and two atomic weapons. 
 
It behooves us to remember that such extreme measures were deemed then both legitimate and necessary as contemporary critics of Israel’s campaign to defeat those who murderously attacked the Jewish State last year ignore her unprecedently successful efforts to minimize “collateral damage.” Israel is, moreover, as entitled as we were to insist on the unconditional surrender and complete eradication of her enemies.

Israel is burning. Hezbollah missiles and drones are aimed at turning her northern areas into open-air crematoria while arsonists put to the torch forests elsewhere in the Jewish state that have been painstaking and proudly cultivated by generations of Israelis. 
 
Such attacks are not simply occurring as the Biden administration relentlessly undermines the government of Israel and its efforts to defeat Hamas. The daily betrayals by Israel’s most important ally are actually encouraging them. 
 
Look no further than the so-called “phased plan” for ending the war in Gaza that President Biden rolled out last week. It would not only guarantee the survival of Hamas. It would require Israel to cease its defensive operations against Hezbollah, too. And he’s going to the UN Security Council to compel Israel’s compliance. 
 
Americans overwhelmingly reject Biden’s anti-Israel policies. Fortunately, so do the people of Israel.
