The Chinese Communist Party has taken what may be its first step towards imminent military action against Taiwan. If the United States fails to respond decisively and quickly, it invites further aggression on an accelerated basis. 
The CCP has seized on Taiwan’s intercept of a speedboat that fatally capsized near its island of Kinmen, which – along with Matsu – is just off the Chinese mainland. It denies there are “maritime boundaries,” setting the stage for further incursions into those waters and, absent real costs, the blockade or invasion of the two islands, and thereafter of Taiwan, itself.
The opportunity to prevent such a cascading disaster will likely be fleeting. Retired Navy Captain James Fanell correctly argues we must declare such Chinese belligerence a tripwire for our formal recognition of Taiwan and explicit commitment to its defense. We must also secure our own homeland now.

In congressional testimony this week, Under Secretary of State Bonnie Jenkins declined to answer questions from Florida Rep. Brian Mast about who would lead the Palestinian state Team Biden insists must emerge from the war in Gaza, or what its character would be.
A lot rides on those answers. They actually will determine what the so-called “two-state solution” actually “solves.” If jihadists run the Palestinian state, they will eventually – if not rapidly –achieve their goal of Israel’s destruction. And if the reason a top U.S. diplomat can’t, or at least won’t, identify who will lead that state, is that there are no other candidates, President Biden is insisting the Jewish State commit suicide. 
Let’s be clear: The people who want to destroy Israel want to destroy us. Biden administration policies helping them advance these goals must be repudiated, and terminated, now.

Yesterday, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner announced a “serious national security threat” and called on President Biden to declassify all information about it. 
When I first heard this news, it seemed an answer to prayer. After all, for months our Committee on the Present Danger: China has been warning (for example, here, here and here) that our borders are being invaded by large numbers of unaccompanied, military-aged Chinese men. Customs and Border Patrol says 20,000 PRC nationals have entered since October 1st. And most of them appear to be People’s Liberation Army personnel who surely constitute a serious national security threat.
Evidently, Mr. Turner is instead pre-occupied with an as-yet-undeployed Russian space-based nuclear weapon for destroying our satellites. That sounds like a problem. But what the nation needs to be addressing immediately is the present – and potentially catastrophic – danger posed by China’s ongoing, literal invasion of America.

Vice President Kamala Harris is enroute to a conference in Europe where she’ll contend that, unlike Donald Trump and congressional Republicans, Team Biden can be trusted to stand with our allies. The Biden administration’s actual record, however, makes this Mission Impossible.
Consider two examples: Joe Biden abjectly surrendered Afghanistan. And now, he is actively sabotaging Israel – think of it as Afghanistan 2.0.
Of course, some in Europe welcome the Biden-Harris administration’s efforts to prevent Israel from destroying Hamas, giving it so-called “humanitarian assistance” while constricting weapons resupply of the Jewish State. Some even favor U.S. support for the overthrow of the Israeli government.  
Other allies though are sensibly considering a “Plan B.” That will likely take the form of a separate peace with the Chinese, Russians and Iranians. The predictable effect will be a far more dangerous world for freedom-loving peoples.

Retired special operator and Army Colonel John Mills is among the latest to warn that military-age, unaccompanied Chinese males pouring across our borders are People’s Liberation Army personnel.
According to Butler County Ohio Sheriff Richard Jones, the National Sheriffs Association meeting last week featured briefings indicating they’re coming here to sow chaos. His conclusion is that “We’re under attack.” 
Meanwhile, the Biden administration is facilitating the entry of more Chinese men into our country and the U.S. Senate is refusing to join the House of Representatives in actually securing our border. With some Republican support, the Senate’s Democrats are intent on pouring sixty billion more into Ukraine, while ignoring the fact that our own nation is literally being invaded. 
Those responsible for such malfeasance will ultimately be held accountable. But how many of us will pay with our lives before that happens?

The Israeli military’s liberation of two hostages seized by Hamas jihadists on October 7th is, of course, good news. It may also be a tipping point in the war for Western civilization that Israel is waging.
Clearly, the argument that the only way to release such hostages is by ending military operations has been refuted. Not only can they conduce to such rescues. This weekend’s success reinforces the contention that only by decisively defeating Hamas will the prospects improve for freeing the rest of them.
And even more important, such a defeat is required to minimize the chances that other Israelis are seized by Palestinians in the future – perhaps on the West Bank or even in Israel itself – at best, to be held for ransom and, at worst, tortured, raped and murdered like so many during Hamas’ infamous one-day holocaust last October.
