Americans are clearly awakening to the fact that President Joe Biden is violating the law and betraying his oath to “preserve, protect and defend” the Constitution. And Texas Governor Greg Abbott has just formally confirmed that’s the case. 
In an extraordinary statement issued yesterday, the governor decried the President’s failure to fulfill his constitutional responsibility to protect the States against invasion. And he affirmed the States’ sovereign interest in protecting their borders.
On these bases, the Texas governor is now directly challenging not only President Biden, but the U.S. Supreme Court which ruled earlier this week that the States cannot defend their international borders – even when the federal government refuses to do so. 
Congress has, for far too long, been an enabler of this open border travesty. Now, it must support Governor Abbott and secure the border, once and for all.

Just when you thought the crisis at America’s southern border could not get worse, it has. Three years of Team Biden’s dismantling of the Trump administration’s efforts to secure that frontier have essentially eliminated it. 
Worse, Joe Biden has further incentivized people from all over the world to come here with “free stuff” and facilitated entry. He has also been indifferent to the huge percentage of the ten million or so who have entered illegally that are unaccompanied, military-age men, many of them likely from Communist China’s armed forces and its allies’, or jihadist nations.
Now the Supreme Court has ruled Texas can’t defend its border when the federal government won’t. At best, that’s an invitation to civil war. At worst, the justices have sealed the fate of a nation that, like the Roman Empire, welcomed in the barbarians who destroyed it.

A news article in Defense One paints a chilling picture of the Chinese Communist Party’s headlong pursuit of bio-engineering as part of its so-called civil-military fusion program. Notably, it says: “Central to the CCP’s efforts to achieve dominance in biology as a domain of military struggle…[are] ‘specific ethnic genetic attacks.’” 
That genocidal research requires the acquisition of vast amounts of personal data, especially from those being targeted, including Americans.
This makes all the more concerning the genetic information the Chinese Communists are collecting in this country. Using PRC-owned platforms like “23andme” and TikTok and partnerships here, the CCP is acquiring Big Data with the intention of weaponizing it against us.
The greatest source of such data, however, will likely arise from the CCP-dominated World Health Organization’s planned imposition of a universal digital ID.                                                                                                                                                                                                        
We must, instead, defend freedom – and defund the W.H.O.

Our Committee on the Present Danger: China conducted a fascinating webinar last week on the disastrous Biden Doctrine of treating America’s enemies better than its friends. 
A case in point is U.S. policy towards Israel. Notwithstanding Biden’s professions of support for the Jewish State, his administration is actively working to overthrow the government of Benjamin Netanyahu and assure an Israeli defeat in Gaza. 
One of the world’s most astute Mideast analysts, Caroline Glick, notes that Team Biden is not only insisting that Israel cannot win there. It’s working to fracture Netanyahu’s unity government, precipitate elections to replace it and reward the Palestinian jihadists for their October 7 invasion by giving them a state in Gaza and the West Bank from which to finish off the Jews.
That would be disastrous for America, too, and embolden all those who seek our destruction.

The Chinese Communist Party was covertly running a laboratory filled with samples of deadly diseases like ebola in the city of Reedley, California. Congressional investigators believe other such biolabs may still be operating elsewhere in America. 
You might have expected these revelations would be treated as a first-order national security emergency. After all, a shooting war with Communist China is distinctly in prospect and the possibility that even one such lab might arm thousands of Chinese special forces here is terrifying. 
Yet, a House committee found the FBI and Centers for Disease Control were astoundingly indifferent to the discovery of this lab and its 20 deadly pathogens. And Fox News reports the Reedley facility’s contents are being destroyed without public disclosure about the peril they posed. 
Congress must compel the Biden administration to counter, not ignore, the CCP biowarfare threat in America.

Joe Biden has stood on its head a proud moniker of American warriors: He epitomizes no better enemy and no worse friend. 
That deplorable distinction has been earned by, among other things: his surrender of Afghanistan; his greenlighting of a “minor Russian incursion” into Ukraine; his appeasement of Iran and undermining of Israel; and his months-long refusal to retaliate decisively for Iranian proxies’ attacks on U.S. personnel.
Now, immediately after the Taiwanese electorate voted for freedom over enslavement by Communist China, Biden announced, the United States does not support Taiwan’s independence. That comment – surely being amplified by two former U.S. officials now in Taipei – rejects the de facto status quo and will encourage Chinese aggression. 
The Biden Doctrine of treating enemies better than friends ensures we’ll dangerously have many more, and greatly emboldened, foes and far fewer and less reliable allies.
