This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. 
The U.S. Senate was once “the world’s greatest deliberative body.” Now, it is mostly Absent Without Leave.  
Yesterday, Senator Tommy Tuberville’s effort to uphold the law banning federal funding of abortions that evolved into a fight over the Senate performing its constitutional role in evaluating senior military officers’ fitness for promotion came to a now all-too-familiar end: Senators on both sides of the aisle declined to do their jobs.
Ditto with respect to the twelve annual appropriations bills. Not one has been passed by the Senate. 
Senators have even declined to insist on advising and consenting to a treaty that would surrender our sovereignty over health policy to the World Health Organization. 
Senator Tuberville has been slandered for jeopardizing national security. What is really putting it at risk is a Senate that not only fails to deliberate, but is actually AWOL.

Senator Dick Durbin said the quiet part out loud about the Biden administration’s hollowing out of the U.S. military. In floor remarks yesterday, he declared it now needs to tap what he described as “undocumented” persons who “want to serve and risk their lives for this country.”
To be sure, Team Biden’s effective destruction of our borders has created an immense pool of fit, military-age men who are willing to do a job in uniform that increasing numbers of Americans won’t. 
The bad news is that, while many such men would probably be happy to enlist, especially if thereby fast-tracked for citizenship, they appear to be Communist Chinese special forces. Countless others hail from the armies, terrorist organizations, and prisons of Sharia-supremacist or otherwise hostile nations.

The World Health Organization is really, really concerned about the threat posed by a warming planet. So, the subtext of the “Health Day” of this year’s UN Climate Change Conference was the need to empower the WHO to do something about it.
That’s the plan set to be consummated next May. A consortium of globalists including the Chinese Communist Party, the World Economic Forum, the European Union, Bill Gates, Big Pharma and the Biden administration – want the WHO’s Communist Director-General to be able to dictate what he deems to be “public health emergencies of international concern” and what must be done about them.
Fortunately, a growing number of countries, political leaders and activists are recognizing that surrendering national sovereignty – including over energy security, to say nothing of public health – to malfeasant international bureaucrats is a formula for disaster.

Donald Rumsfeld famously observed that “You go to war with the army you have.” Unfortunately, it seems more likely by the day that America will be going to a shooting war against the Chinese Communist Party with a military that has been hollowed out, disastrously misled and afflicted with a Commander-in-Chief “elite captured” by the enemy.
China’s strategic arsonist dictator, Xi Jinping, has perceived in our weakness opportunities to spark diversionary conflagrations in Ukraine, Israel, and Mideast sea lanes. He’s set next to flame-on others in Korea, Latin America and here. 
I was among three dozen conservatives who warned U.S. Senators yesterday that they must not agree to the promotion of more general officers who enthusiastically embrace Obama-Biden 3.0’s Marxist makeover of our armed forces. To do otherwise is to invite the defeat of the military – and the nation – we have.

Tributes to Henry Kissinger, dead yesterday at 100, tout his foreign policy expertise and accomplishments. No one will miss him more than the Chinese Communist Party for whom he was, literally, its oldest “Old Friend” – a term reserved for members of Beijing’s “captured elites.”
Kissinger’s usefulness to the CCP was evident when Chinese dictator Xi Jinping celebrated his centennial birthday during the last of more than 100 visits to what has emerged, with his considerable help, as our greatest enemy, ever.
In the six decades since his first, secret trip to China – which actualized Richard Nixon’s strategically misbegotten “opening” – Kissinger arguably did more than any other American to facilitate the Chinese Communists’ penetration, subversion and other acts of “unrestricted warfare” against this country. To be determined is whether, in his absence, the damage he did can be undone.
Good riddance, Henry Kissinger.

You wouldn’t have known it from the red-carpet treatment Chinese dictator Xi Jinping received in San Francisco two weeks ago from President Joe Biden, California Governor Gavin Newsom and 400 corporate leaders, but until recently their guest was stealthily operating a biolab with potential weapons of mass destruction near Fresno.
A chilling report subsequently issued by the House Committee on the Chinese Communist Party confirmed that this facility was replete with samples of 20 deadly pathogens, the equipment to replicate them and mice genetically modified to spread COVID-19. 
In the hands any of the thousands of apparent People’s Liberation Army special forces personnel who have illegally entered this country in recent months, such diseases could have been unleashed with devastating effect. 
And we have no idea if there are other labs like this still operating in America.
