Bad Time to be Financing the CCP Threat

The Chinese Communist Party has effectively begun its invasion of Taiwan with live-fire air and naval exercises surrounding the island, including some within Taiwan’s exclusive economic zone. This would seem to be a bad time for U.S. government employees and military personnel to have their retirement savings invested in CCP companies.
 
Yet, as an article in today’s Wall Street Journal makes clear, the CCP’s “Old Friends” like BlackRock’s Larry Fink have effectively eviscerated President Trump’s decision two years ago to bar such investments through the federal Thrift Savings Plan. Our coalition opposing that scheme has established that TSP participants could be unwittingly investing in hundreds of Chinese corporations – including ones tied to its military and/or human rights abusers.

Pelosi Trip Exposes the CCP’s War Against America

Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan didn’t cause a crisis with theChinese Communist Party. Rather, it has simply brought intosharp focus a long-ignored reality: The CCP is at war withAmerica.

A blockade of Taiwan, further constriction of its own supplychains upon which we heavily depend, more violent aggressionin the Western Pacific against our interests and perhaps our ownassets, personnel and territory – including further biologicalwarfare attacks like the Covid pandemic – are now in prospect.We can no longer ignore these and other forms of the CCP’sunrestricted warfare against us. Tactical Victory Confirms Biden’s Strategic Defeat

The liquidation by drone strike of Osama bin Laden’s successoris a welcome tactical victory for America’s intelligence andmilitary personnel. Sadly, it also reminds us of the magnitude ofthe strategic defeat we suffered at the hands of theirCommander-in-Chief a year ago.
Consider the following facts: Ayman al-Zawahiri was operatingin Afghanistan’s capital. Clearly, with America’s surrender ofthe country to the Taliban, it’s a new haven for Sharia-supremacists the world over. Worse yet, thanks to more than $80billion-worth of advanced U.S. weaponry President Bidenabandoned there, those jihadists are vastly better armed thanever before.
And the tens of thousands of unvetted, mostly unaccompaniedyoung Afghan men that Team Biden allowed to enter and settlethroughout America ensures the danger we face from the nextZawahiris will not be decisively defeated by wack-a-mole tacticsin distant Afghanistan.

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.Will she or won’t she? House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is travelingin Asia, but hasn’t confirmed whether her itinerary will includeTaiwan.
It's better.
After all, China’s dictator Xi Jinping has made this a throw-down and President Biden is, once again, in full appeasementmode. If the Speaker complies with their respective demandsthat she skip a stop in Taiwan, it will not avoid a conflict withthe Chinese Communist Party. It will guarantee it, later if notsooner.
To her credit, Nancy Pelosi has in the past robustly opposed theCCP’s brutality towards its own people and those of Tibet. Inrecent years, however, her husband has made a fortune doingdeals with Party-controlled companies. The legacy of Ms.Pelosi’s Speakership will be enhanced by a tangibledemonstration in Taiwan that – unlike Joe Biden – she’s notamong those “elite-captured” by Beijing.

Latest Hapless Call with Xi Confirms Joe Must Go

Joe Biden is a disgrace. It’s bad enough that the president of theUnited States is seen to be increasingly demented and clearlyincapable of performing the duties of his office. Worse yet, hischaracteristic irresolution and personal corruption is surelyencouraging our country’s greatest enemy ever, the ChineseCommunist Party, to believe that it can engage in aggressionwithout appreciable costs.
That’s not just a national mortification. It will get Americanskilled.
For the fifth time in his presidency, Mr. Biden spoke for hoursyesterday with Communist China’s dictator, Xi Jinping. Theuninformative White House “read-out” on the call suggests thePresident failed again to respond forcefully to Xi’s threats toTaiwan or otherwise demonstrate the strength that’s the onehope for preventing a bloody conflict in the Western Pacific –which seems not only increasingly likely, but imminent.
Joe must go.

Enough with unequal justice under law

Of all the toxic things the Biden wrecking operation has inflicted on our country, one of the most corrosive is its relentless, further undermining of the principle of “equal justice under law.”
In practice, this entails federal law enforcement treating dramatically differently alleged wrongdoing by prominent Republicans and Democrats.
The latest examples involve the Justice Department’s reported plans to indict former President Donald Trump on the absurd proposition that he engaged in a seditious conspiracy to overthrow our government on January 6th.
Meanwhile, unidentified whistleblowers have revealed that the DoJ and FBI have studiously ignored hard evidence that Hunter Biden and “the Big Guy” – his father, Joe – have actually sold out our country to its mortal enemy, the Chinese Communist Party.
Biden’s weaponizing of our system of justice really will take down our Constitutional Republic, and embolden the CCP to pile on.
