There is a tradition in public life that has for too long been honored in the breach. It comes down to this: If you hold high office and perform your duties incompetently, dishonorably or otherwise disastrously, it behooves you to take responsibility and resign.
Today, there are myriad examples of instances in which such a corrective is warranted. Consider just three: The engineered environmental catastrophe in East Palestine on Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s watch. The orchestrated invasion of our southern border facilitated by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. And President Joe Biden’s serial betrayal of our country to the Chinese Communist Party.
While there are certainly grounds for impeaching these three, they owe it to the American people to exhibit the integrity and sense of duty to spare the country the further trauma and expense of formally removing them from office.

The legitimacy of the leadership of a constitutional Republic like ours isn’t just a question of the integrity of the election by which the president came to power. On that score alone, Joe Biden would be “challenged.” 
We now have many other grounds for a lack of confidence in the Commander-in-Chief: Biden’s senility, for one. His erratic leadership concerning on an increasingly fraught war in Ukraine. His dangerous jabs and domestic terrorism mandates.  His bankrupting of our country and consistent imposition of policies harmful to our people and their freedoms.  
Most especially, we can’t trust a man who has clearly sold out our nation to its most dangerous enemy ever. Team Biden’s bizarre approach to and utter lack of transparency about known and suspected Chinese Communist incursions into our sovereign airspace is but the latest grounds for saying Joe must go.

Reports that our sovereign air space is being repeatedly penetrated, and that it has evidently been going on unnoticed for some time, are profoundly unsettling. Unfortunately, they highlight a serious national vulnerability heretofore unknown to most Americans.
That vulnerability arises from the fact that, after President Nixon signed the U.S.-Soviet Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty in 1972, America basically gave up on most active and even passive defenses of our country. The theory was that having agreed to forswear effective anti-missile systems, it made little sense to maintain comprehensive air defenses, extensive protection for our leadership or any real civil defense for our population.
Instead, we embraced a notion called Mutual Assured Destruction, or MAD. Our perfect vulnerability backed by a nuclear deterrent was said to be the formula for security.
MAD is, well, mad. Clearly, we need to defend America once again.

Lately, it seems every day brings a shoot-down of some unmanned flying object in our air space. The military has thus far given few details about what our fighter aircraft have intercepted. So, we can’t be sure that they are – like the balloon recently forced into U.S. territorial waters off South Carolina – Chinese in origin and whether their purpose is threatening. 
If that proves to be the case, the question is why the Chinese Communist Party is engaged in such aggressive behavior at this juncture. One explanation is as obvious as it is ominous: Deterrence is failing.
When combined with accumulating evidence that the CCP is preparing for a shooting war, we must immediately do everything we can to dissuade the Chinese Communists from going there.
For starters, we must have a Commander-in-Chief who has not betrayed this country to our enemy.
