As we freely and joyously celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, it’s easy to forget that many millions of our co-religionists around the world risk severe persecution and even death to do the same. That’s especially so in Sharia-supremacist Muslim nations that systematically oppress Christians.
One such nation is Turkey. And the determination of its president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to create a new Ottoman empire-style caliphate is threatening to renew – most immediately in Syria – the Turks’ practice of genocide against Christians and other minorities, like the Kurds.
It's unconscionable that what passes for the Biden administration has just removed a 10 million dollar bounty on Turkey’s top jihadist surrogate in Syria, Abu Mohammed al-Julani – effectively endorsing his dominion and that of his patron over all non-Muslims there and greenlighting their future operations against Jordan and Israel.

President-elect Donald Trump just gave America a Christmas present. In a video statement issued by the transition team yesterday, he denounced the World Health Organization as a “corrupt globalist scam” substantially bankrolled by the United States, but “controlled by China” and an “utter failure on COVID.”In the face of ongoing efforts by the WHO to crush our sovereignty and liberties – including by censoring our free speech, Mr. Trump affirmed his determination to terminate U.S. membership in the organization.He also pledged to work to create a new voluntary arrangement whereby nations could collaborate on public health matters without surrendering their sovereign authority over emergencies.Our Sovereignty Coalition has been making the case for such actions for nearly two years. We commend the incoming President for defying, defunding and departing the WHO and encourage other nations to follow his lead.This is Frank Gaffney.

President-elect Donald Trump yesterday sounded an alarm about a very serious threat to our national security and commercial interests arising from the current status of the strategic Panama Canal.
While Mr. Trump cited concerns about Panama’s exorbitant charges imposed on U.S. military and commercial shipping, he also directly addressed the question of who controls thewaterway we built.
And with good reason. In Panama, as in much of Latin America, the Chinese Communists have secured key real estate – usually under the pretense of business operations – that can be used toproject power. Their ports at both ends of the Panama Canal could easily deny our warships’ or others’ transit, or even shut it down.
It's high time this yawning problem – and the larger issue of hostile foreigners’ penetration of our hemisphere – be front and center in our national security planning and operations.

Turkey’s Islamist proxies have seized most of Syria. Now it wants an end to U.S. and other international sanctions on an al Qaeda-linked group controlling much of that long-suffering country. Those include a 10 million dollar bounty on its leader, known as Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, for the murder of Americans, among others.
A multi-national delegation is in Damascus today, presumably for that purpose. After all, the Biden administration lavished money and arms on another bunch of Sharia-supremacists with American blood their hands when the Taliban seized Afghanistan.
Acceding to the Turks’ plans to have jihadists next dominate post-Assad Syria would help them create a neo-Ottoman empire there and far beyond. To that end, Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is preparing to exterminate Syria’s Kurds and possibly others.
We must stand squarely against, not effectively greenlight, such further crimes against humanity.

What is coming next? The open question with respect to a so-called ceasefire in Gaza and the ambitions of jihadis now in charge of Syria and perhaps headed towards Jordan and maybe even Israel itself.

I spoke with Dave Walsh about the Biden administration's latest example of comporting itself as though it's not going anywhere, making pronouncements about greenhouse gas emissions for the next 10 years and further pouring money in the form of various subsidies into electrification schemes that will not meet the requirements of the future, nor provide the reliable grid we absolutely must have.

I spoke with Philippe Karsenty of France about developments in his country, ranging from the arsonist's attacks against, it appears, Notre Dame to many other sacred places, churches, cathedrals, and the like throughout the country. The Islamists who seem to be behind many of them, as well as other problems that France is now confronting, possibly giving rise to conditions that will translate into real crises in the nation, perhaps even civil war, according to some.
We also talked about other political developments in that nation, whether Francois Macron will fall from power altogether and the emergence of his new prime minister as possibly a force to be reckoned with; much interest there and much to continue to monitor.

The Biden administration committed yesterday to reduce U.S. emissions of greenhouse gases by 66 percent over the next decade.
You might be forgiven for thinking that whoever’s running our country at the moment didn’t get the memo that their team lost the election, with voters soundly repudiating its radical policies with respect to climate change and the rest of the left’s wrecking operation against America.
Indeed, as a powerful webinar conducted Tuesday by our Committee on the Present Danger: China made clear, the outgoing administration is seemingly doing everything it can to undermine, or at least countermand, the mandate Donald Trump is supposed to begin fulfilling a month from tomorrow.
The bottom line is that Team Biden is behaving as though it isn’t going anywhere. The question occurs: Is it deliberately fostering chaos-inducing conditions, here and abroad, calculated to postpone the inauguration?
