Iran recently attacked Israel with nearly 200 ballistic missiles. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promises to retaliate. He must do so decisively.
Yesterday, Canada’s formidable opposition leader, Pierre Poilievre, publicly made the case for including among Israel’s targets the mullahs’ vast nuclear weapons-related infrastructure. He said, “I think the idea of allowing, a genocidal, theocratic, unstable dictatorship that is desperate…to avoid being overthrown by its own people to develop nuclear weapons is about the most dangerous and irresponsible thing that the world could ever allow.
“And if Israel were to stop that genocidal, theocratic, unstable government from acquiring nuclear weapons, it would be a gift by the Jewish state to humanity.”
Ditto if Bibi targets the Iranian regime itself, giving that nation’s longsuffering people a chance finally to free themselves from the monsters who brutally repress them and threaten the rest of humanity.

The Chinese Communist Party is America’s enemy. It explicitly seeks the destruction of our country.
 
We’ve just learned that Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz was paid by the CCP to arrange as many as thirty trips to China for himself and young, impressionable American kids. Former CIA undercover operative Sam Faddis – who used to recruit and run spies for America – describes Walz as a valuable “access agent” for Chinese intelligence.
 
Walz began his intimate association with Communist China when he was a National Guardsman assigned to a nuclear artillery unit. He has since worked with various CCP influence operations here, including one the State Department says is “aimed at exerting direct and malign influence on state and local leaders to advance China’s global agenda.” 
 
Sam Faddis believes “the Great Walz of China” is a mortal threat to us all. Do you?

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.
 
One year ago today, Israel was murderously attacked by thousands of Sharia-supremacists from Gaza, including large numbers of civilians as well as Hamas terrorists with training and weapons provided by Iran.
 
Today, the war thus launched has devastated what amounted to a “Palestinian state” in Gaza and the Hamas crime syndicate that relentlessly used it as a platform to try to destroy the Jewish one.
 
Israel is now in the process of doing the same to areas of Lebanon controlled by Iran’s foreign legion, Hezbollah. The jihadists’ use of civilians to shield their operations in both places has resulted in regrettable collateral damage. But the prospect of their liberation offers a chance for a far better future.
 
That will require Israel to address, as well, the source of all these problems: namely, the Iranian regime.
 
There can be no substitute for victory.

We take for granted that Canada is a reliably benign partner in trade and national security. Under its increasingly Marxist prime minister Justin Trudeau, however, it has become a petri dish for repressive governance at home and threats from foreign powers and illegal aliens that make our open northern border a grave liability, too.
 
Trudeau openly admires Communist China and has allowed into Canada six million immigrants, many from there.
 
Border expert Todd Bensman reported recently on terrorist plots emanating from our northern neighbor. A September symposium there warned of growing threats from Russia and China in the Arctic – and the appalling lack of needed U.S. and Canadian defenses. And freedom of speech is under relentless attack by the government and parliament.
 
In due course – if not quite soon – these will be our problems and can no longer safely be ignored.

Afterwards, Vice President Kamala Harris declared, “Iran is a destabilizing, dangerous force in the Middle East….We will never hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to defend U.S. forces and interests against Iran and Iran-backed terrorists.”
 
Welcome as such statements are, they starkly contrast with her administration’s fixation from its inception with enriching, empowering and emboldening Iran – policy malfeasance that predictably contributed to today’s disastrous regional reality.
 
As the Veep herself said: “Iran is not only a threat to Israel. Iran is also a threat to American personnel in the region, American interests, and innocent civilians across the region who suffer at the hands of Iran-based and -backed terrorist proxies.”
 
The U.S. government must now help Israel destroy that threat, or get out of the way.
