The Iranian regime yesterday blanketed Israel with 180 ballistic missile strikes. Afterwards, Vice President Kamala Harris declared, “Iran is a destabilizing, dangerous force in the Middle East….We will never hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to defend U.S. forces and interests against Iran and Iran-backed terrorists.”
 
Welcome as such statements are, they starkly contrast with her administration’s fixation from its inception with enriching, empowering and emboldening Iran – policy malfeasance that predictably contributed to today’s disastrous regional reality.
 
As the Veep herself said: “Iran is not only a threat to Israel. Iran is also a threat to American personnel in the region, American interests, and innocent civilians across the region who suffer at the hands of Iran-based and -backed terrorist proxies.”
 
The U.S. government must now help Israel destroy that threat, or get out of the way.

We’re told vice presidential debates don’t influence the outcome of presidential elections. Tonight’s should be an exception.
 
For one thing, additional assassins are reportedly hunting the top of the Republican ticket, making the readiness of Donald Trump’s running mate, J.D. Vance, to step up at any moment a matter of surpassing importance.
 
For another, this debate presents a unique opportunity to address an issue on which the two candidates differ profoundly. Democrat Tim Walz has a lifetime of extensive personal and professional connections to Communist China and rejects the idea that it’s an adversary. Senator Vance strongly disagrees.

Tomorrow night’s vice presidential debate should be a tale of two “little red books.” Democratic candidate Tim Walz has collected and disseminated the one by Chinese Communist Party founder, Mao Tse-tung. His Republican opponent, J.D. Vance would be well-advised to draw on a new one being published tomorrow by the great Gordon G. Chang.
Chang’s book is entitled “Plan Red: China’s Project to Destroy America.” That actually was Mao’s plan – one now weaponized against us to the point where my friend, Gordon, arguably our country’s preeminent authority on the CCP, persuasively warns we face imminent shooting war at its hands.
If that were not sufficient reason for American voters to hear much more about this topic, the two veep candidates have profoundly differing life experiences with Communist China – Walz’s long, personal and favorable; Vance’s scarred, strategic and hostile.

I am sorry for not being in the best voice at the moment but I have an important message. For years, I have been using this platform to share my thoughts about national security challenges of the day and what we should be doing about them. In recent days, Israel has conducted history’s most humane, discriminating and militarily successful attack on thousands of terrorists deeply embedded in a civilian population. It did so by turning pagers and walkie-talkies into precision weapons. Middle East expert Michael Doran calls it “Operation Grim Beeper.”
 
The genius of the Israeli strikes is that the enemy actually did the targeting for the Jewish State. Hezbollah only gave its most important commanders and operatives these communication devices. Once the jihidists realized the extent to which their systems are compromised, they were reduced to meeting face-to-face, affording Israel an opportunity to take them out with more traditional techniques.
 
So why would Leon Panetta, a top national security Democrat, say that Israel is engaged in “terrorism”? Evidently, like many others in his party, he wants Israel to lose. Fortunately, most Americans disagree.

On Sunday morning, the United Nations adopted without debate a “Pact for the Future” that includes a mandate for the organization and its Secretary-General to manage “complex global shocks.”
 
While the language employed misleadingly obscures the true purpose of this new charter, it is clearly to turn the United Nations into a world government.
 
That’s because, with strong support from the Harris-Biden administration, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres intends to obtain the authority automatically to order responses to climate change, pandemics, commercial disruptions, cyberattacks, asteroids and any other so-called “black swan events.”
 
Israel will likely be impacted first by the new Pact’s explicit inclusion of certain “conflicts” in its mandate since the UN effectively ordered her to disarm last week.  
 
Make no mistake, however: The globalists’ world government – which Americans neither support nor approved – will be coming for our sovereignty and freedoms, too.
