Two assassinations in twelve hours have taken out top leaders of Iran’s proxy war against Israel. They also serve as a reminder that the Jewish State is fighting in that war not only her enemies, but ours.
 
Israeli forces eliminated in Beirut Fuad Shukr, a top commander of Hezbollah. They have yet to acknowledge a second air strike in Tehran that killed the head of the so-called “political wing” of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh.
 
Our government rightly deemed both of these jihadists to be terrorists. For four decades, Shukr has had the blood of U.S. Marines on his hands and now that of 15 Israeli children just killed on the Golan Heights. And Haniyeh was a Specially Designated Global Terrorist tied to the murder of seventeen Americans.
 
We had an interest in these monsters’ liquidation. Ditto in helping Israel win our common war.
 

For decades after World War II, the U.S. military was sensibly required to be able to fight and win two major wars in different parts of the world simultaneously. After Ronald Reagan bloodlessly defeated the Soviet Union, that requirement steadily shrank.
 
A new, congressionally mandated report says that, under the Biden-Harris administration, America’s armed forces are now not “prepared” to fight even a single major conflict. In the words of the Commission on the National Defense Strategy, “The U.S. military lacks both the capabilities and the capacity required to be confident it can deter and prevail in combat.”
 
Unfortunately, “not prepared” would be an even more apt description for our homeland security, thanks in part to the administration’s admission of countless thousands of Chinese soldiers and jihadists.
 
We must pray there’s time for accountability this November – and urgent corrective action thereafter.

There’s an increasingly obvious common-denominator to what’s going on throughout the world: Evil is on the march. Its object is nothing less than the destruction of the West’s Judeo-Christian civilization and nations – especially ours and Israel’s – in which it has both been rooted and flourished.
 
The demonic display in which transvestites obscenely mocked the Last Supper during the Olympics’ opening in Paris this weekend is a particularly vivid, if non-violent, example of the spiritual warfare now afoot worldwide.
 
Far worse is the actual and intensifying, murderous kind being waged by an alliance of totalitarians ranging from Communist China to Russia to Iran and their proxies.
 
Today’s “axis of evil” is also attacking free nations’ sovereignty and liberties with toxic “global governance” initiatives.
 
With God’s grace, good will yet triumph. We must pray He’ll do His part – as we mobilize to do ours.

Vice President Kamala Harris met yesterday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and, unlike President Biden who did the same separately, she spoke to the press afterwards. Kamala simultaneously acknowledged Israel’s right to defend itself and sharply denounced how the Jewish State is doing so.
 
Presumably her remarks played well with the pro-Hamas rioters who burned our flag and defaced our monuments in Washington on Wednesday. Indeed, some were reportedly bussed in from a campaign rally she had in Wisconsin the day before.
 
Courageous Muslim reformer Asra Nomani investigated the riot and quickly established that the busses and demonstration were organized by the “Red-Green axis” – notably, ANSWR, a North Korean-backed Marxist organization, and the Council on American Islamic Relations and other Sharia-supremacist front groups.
 
Kamala is to be commended for denouncing the rioters. Will she also disassociate herself from their organizers?

Today may be Benjamin Netanyahu’s finest hour. If so, it will be because when Israel’s leader addresses a Joint Session of Congress, he will speak truth to power.
 
The truth is that Israel is fighting a war for Judeo-Christian civilization against Sharia-supremacists who seek her destruction and ours. Because Israelis are doing so, we may not have to. But they do need our help resupplying the weapons required to win.
 
Bibi must also speak truthfully about the so-called “two-state solution.” China’s purported reconciliation of Hamas and the Palestinian Authority confirms the obvious: Israel has no “partner for peace,” only jihadists who will use whatever territory they control to wage war on the Israelis, and us. 
 
The Biden-Harris administration doesn’t want to hear these truths – or have the American people hear them, either. All the more reason why Benjamin Netanyahu must ensure they do.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has come to Washington to speak directly to the American people via a Joint Session of Congress. It’s necessitated by the overt hostility he faces from a Biden-Harris administration determined to topple him.  
 
Bibi’s message is expected to be one that underscores the progress Israel is making in destroying its enemies – and ours – in a struggle to the death between Judeo-Christian civilization and those determined to eliminate it. 
 
The Jewish State’s crushing retaliation Saturday for a Houthi drone attack on Tel Aviv is the latest example. It contrasts starkly with our administration’s hapless response to that terrorist group’s piracy and successive missile strikes on U.S. warships.
 
Netanyahu will brave misbehavior by congressional critics and possibly violent protests by pro-terrorist groups in Washington. We must pray that he is better protected than was Donald Trump in Butler.
